a year agoLovely Place nice staff and Delicious Ice Cream 🍦. Also their fries, burgers 🍔 🍟 everything is fresh made n tasty. For Me that doesn’t grew up in the USA its feels like a movie. Also love their outdoor picnic tables setting.

a year agoSuch a gem. We got ice cream and fries. The fries were delicious, so hot and crispy made from real potatoes. The ice cream was awesome with really fresh additions... real banana and strawberries in their shake! YUM!🍦🍟✨

a year agoStop! Just get the funnel cake sundae. With strawberry topping. You're welcome. No, but seriously, it was excellent. Simple. Fresh funnel cake. Cold and creamy vanilla custard. Strawberry topping with the usual add ons. This was my first time trying the Polar Bear, and it will now be my go-to ice cream stand. I'm looking forward to trying the food as well. A few patrons complained about the wait, but it appeared that there were new hires being trained, so it's completely understandable. Service was great, in my opinion 👍 and there was plenty of seating outside to enjoy.

a year agoI have been going to this restaurant since I was a child for over 45 years. I love the ice cream cones with the candy crunchy coating. My mom bought a pineapple shake which she enjoyed as well. We will also stop at the Polar Bear during the summer. It is a great neighborhood small business and we love it. They offer food, drinks, and sweet treats. They offer an outside sitting area as well. A go to if you are in the North Riverside areas.

3 years agoI don't eat ice cream much but I did enjoy the ice cream and outdoor seating is nice. the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The only downside is it's a bit pricey but I will definitely come back when I'm in this area.

3 years agoAlways seen this small ice cream shop decided to try it out and it did not disappoint. Ordered a funnel cake Sunday and it was good the make the funnel cakes to order so it paired very well with the ice cream. They have a big menu with different choices and they also sell fast food burgers and hot dogs.

3 years agoI’ve driven past this place for 35 years and have never once stopped in for a tasty frozen treat. That is until my boyfriend mentioned how he had eaten there since he was kid and said how good it was. Checked it out with my daughter and him and let me tell you it was super amazing. Once you walk in the door it’s like you’re inside an old ice cream shop. But the best part is they serve more than just ice cream. Cheeseburgers, fries, mozzarella sticks, nachos you name it. It’s munchies heaven, seriously get one of everything. And while you’re at it give them all of your money. Highly recommend this place if you’re driving through town.
